Lead Your Way is a European project designed to reduce the employment gap of people with Down syndrome and intellectual disabilities (DS/ID). We aim to increase their chances to access and thrive in the open labour market by combining supported employment strategies with smart digital tools.
Main Project Activities
- Research & good practice collection through expert interviews and case studies about inclusive employment in Europe.
- Co-design groups with people with DS/ID to collect input about their actual support needs.
- Creation of digital tools for supported employment: an AI-powered vocational guidance tool for people with DS/ID, an online toolkit for job coaches and disability support professionals, and an interactive guide & online self-assessment tool about supported employment, inclusive workplaces & diversity management for companies.
Who Is Behind the Project?
Lead Your Way is implemented by a European partnership bringing together four disability-expert associations from Spain, Croatia, Romania, and Malta, together with a Greek technology partner.
This multidisciplinary consortium combines expertise in supported employment and social inclusion with digital innovation in order to deliver accessible, user-centred solutions for people with DS/ID in their paths to employment.
